If you would like to update the IP address of your private nameserver, you can input the nameserver's new IP address through your Namecheap account so that the info would be submitted directly to the registry. Please follow the instructions below:
- Login to your Namecheap account
- Click on Manage Domains and choose the domain
- Click on Nameserver Registration in the left side menu
- Click on Find All Existing Nameservers and put the new IP address for the nameservers in the New IP field
- Click on Save Changes
