Install ClamAV on a cPanel server

This article describes installing ClamAV on a VPS or Dedicated server with cPanel.

The process is very simple, to install ClamAV follow the steps below:

1. Login to WHM as root (if you are not sure what WHM is and/or how to login, see this article: What is WHM and how do I login?)
2. Navigate to or use the search box to find "Manage Plugins"
3. Select "clamavconnector" ("Install and keep updated")
That should be it! Please keep in mind that the installation might take some time! Once installed, it will automatically be available in all cPanel accounts as "Virus Scanner".
