How to transfer domains from ResellerClub
Transferring domain names from Reseller Club to other registrar requires a couple of steps. In eHow they explain clearly the steps that you need to follow, but in summary you can go ahead and do this:
- Click the domain name, click "Modify Contact Details, and update the contact information using either your Contact Database or creating a new contact.
- To obtain the domain authorization code, click the domain name. In the "Order Information" section, click on the link in the "Domain Secret" field to view your Domain Secret. Record it to use when submitting the transfer request.
- Next, unlock the domain. If you are a reseller, go to "Products" > "Domain Registration" > "Bulk Actions" > "Bulk Lock/Unlock". If you are a customer, go to "Domains" > "Domain Registration" > "Bulk Actions" > "Bulk Lock/Unlock
- Type the domain names you want to unlock, and click "Unlock Orders".
- Go to your other registrant, for example GreenWebSolution, and use the transfer authorization code that you got from ResellerClub.
- Set the Registrar Lock, Auto-Renew, Whois, and Password options as you wish.
Now your domain or registrant should be initiated the transfer process.
